Katie McClendon

Katie McClendon is a queer writer, teacher and editor in Seattle. Her poems have been published in numerous journals including Ante Review, Mare Nostrum and Portland Review (although she’s a fiction writer). She is currently applying to M.F.A. programs and working on her first collection of short stories, which focus on familial relationships, queer identity and the female experience. When not writing or reading or teaching, she is fighting her animal urge to watch cable television by doing Cross Fit.
