Novel Diagnostics
Award-winning novelist A.M. Dellamonica takes students through a step by step examination of their novels in progress, giving them a full work-up that will highlight both its strengths and weaknesses. The goal? To ensure your book has all the essential components for a vibrant, healthy narrative, whether it’s an attention-grabbing opening, compelling characters, or a story that keeps readers turning pages. Students will examine each others’ voice, prose, point of view, imagery, theme, plot and cast of characters, and will come away with concrete strategies for curing any issues that might otherwise keep their novels from flourishing.
