Cafe Hugo

Café Hugo is a bar/café that is open during many Hugo House events. We love to keep it in the neighborhood, serving regional beers, Market Spice tea straight from the waterfront and coffee donated by Caffé Vita—so local we can smell the beans roasting from across Cal Anderson Park.

The bar also features a rotating wine list, cocktails inspired by our favorite moonshine-inclined writers, light refreshments and a variety of light snacks. We accept cash, checks and credit cards.

Be sure to check the chalkboard behind the bar or ask your bartender about our drink specials, which are often themed after the evening’s event. And, if you’re looking for a toast, consider this: all café sales support Hugo House programming, so your drinks and eats go towards a good cause.
