ZAPP Volunteer Orientation

Are you interested in getting more involved at Hugo House? If so, come to our next volunteer orientation, where you’ll learn more about volunteer procedures and upcoming opportunities at Hugo House.

This orientation will be focused on opportunities with the Zine Archive and Publishing Project (ZAPP). We’ll talk a little bit about different ways to get involved with ZAPP, including staffing the archive as an open hours volunteer, interning and helping to catalog the archive. You need not have any experience with zines to attend! Volunteer orientations are required for all new volunteers. If you’re more interested  in other opportunities, such as events volunteering, administrative work and internships with other departments in the House, contact Sara Brickman to be invited to our next orientation in April.

Volunteers teach book-binding workshops, organize happy hours, write blog posts and do so much more. If you want to be a part of Hugo House, we’re looking forward to meeting you.
