Bilingual Open Mic / Micrófono Abierto

Join Us for a Free Bilingual Open Mic at Hugo House!
We are excited to invite you to the first of what we hope will become a series of bilingual open mic nights at Hugo House, where art, literature, and music can be shared in either English or Spanish.
How to Register?
This event is free to attend. Anyone interested can pre-register by sending an email to: mic@latinosus.com.
How It Works:
Participants are invited to share poetry, literature, songs, or other creative works in either English or Spanish. Each participant will have up to eight minutes to present, with timing managed by one of our volunteers. The order of performances will be chosen randomly from those who registered online. In-person registration will close 30 minutes before the open mic begins.
Additional Information:
We encourage participants to bring food to share, fostering a sense of community through art, literature, and a shared meal. Drinks can be purchased at the Hugo House bar, and outside beverages are not permitted to support Hugo House's hospitality.

Nos complace invitarle al primer evento de micrófono abierto bilingüe en Hugo House, donde esperamos que el arte, la literatura y la música se compartan tanto en inglés como en español.
¿Cómo Registrarse?
Este evento es gratuito. Cualquier persona interesada puede pre-registrarse enviando un correo electrónico a: mic@latinosus.com.
¿Cómo Funciona?
Invitamos a los participantes a compartir poesía, literatura, canciones u otras obras creativas en inglés o español. Cada participante tendrá hasta ocho minutos para presentar, con el tiempo gestionado por uno de nuestros voluntarios. El orden de las presentaciones se elegirá al azar entre los que se registren en línea. El registro en persona cerrará 30 minutos antes de que comience el micrófono abierto.
Información Adicional:
Animamos a los participantes a traer comida para compartir, fomentando un sentido de comunidad a través del arte, la literatura y una comida compartida. Las bebidas se pueden comprar en la barra de Hugo House, y no se permiten bebidas de afuera para apoyar la hospitalidad de Hugo House.
