Acclaimed cartoonists Ellen Forney (Marbles) and David Lasky (The Carter Family: Don’t Forget This Song) read and present slides of their latest work. Rob Salkowitz (Comic-Con and the Business of Pop Culture) hosts.

Sean Beaudoin, Kevin Emerson, Danbert Nobacon, Kari Luna and Conrad Wesselhoeft, with Brian McGuigan
Author-rockers Sean Beaudoin (Wise Young Fool), Kevin Emerson (The Atlanteans series, lead singer for The Board of Education), Danbert Nobacon (3 Dead Princes, formerly of Chumbawamba), Kari Luna (The Theory of Everything), and Conrad Wesselhoeft (Adios, Nirvana) will read, with memoirist Brian McGuigan as MC.

Strangely alluring writers Ryan Boudinot (Blueprints of the Afterlife), Stacey Levine (The Girl with Brown Fur), and Matthew Simmons (Happy Rock) read short stories. Mats and blankets optional, booze guaranteed. Brian McGuigan, Hugo House’s former program director, hosts.
