11987187_896547047061110_3414341396105967842_n2015 is a monumental year for love stories in all its rainbow colors! Come join us for #LoveWins, as we present a special reading event at Hugo House with five amazing authors—Edmond Manning, Alex Powell, Radclyffe, Anne Tenino, and Yolanda Wallace.

From contemporary romances to sci-fi space romps to college coming out stories, each writer shines a spotlight on LGBTQ lives, loves and relationships, and promotes the theme that there’s Happily Ever After for everyone, and Love really does win in the end.

Stay for the Second Act!

Presented by: Old Growth Northwest’s Gay Romance Northwest Initiative.

#LoveWins – About the Authors:

Edmond Manning‘s works include King Perry, King Mai, and The Butterfly King. In 2014, King Mai was a finalist in the national Lamba Literary Awards.

Alex Powell is a genderqueer writer from the wilds of northern Canada who loves exploring other peoples and cultures. Alex’s works include the sci-fi novel Rangers Over Regulus and the lesbian romance novella Sky Knights.

Radclyffe has written and published over forty-five novels as well as dozens of short stories, has edited numerous anthologies, and, writing as L. L. Raand, has authored a paranormal romance series, The Midnight Hunters.

Anne Tenino was raised on a steady media diet of Monty Python, classical music, and the visual arts. Her novels include Too Stupid to Live, Frat Boy and Toppy, Sweet Young Thang, and Wedding Favors.

Yolanda Wallace is not a professional writer, but she plays one in her spare time. Her love of travel and adventure has helped her pen the globe-spanning novels In Medias Res, Rum Spring, Lucky Loser, Murphy’s Law, Love’s Bounty, Break Point, the Lambda Award-winning Month of Sundays, and the upcoming 24/7, as well as Date with Destiny and Charm City, written as Mason Dixon.
