The event is free\, all ages\, and open to all. \nMare Nostrum features creative writing inspired by the Mediterranean (“contemporary writers\, classical muses”) as well as (newly) the Salish Sea\, connecting to U.W.’s Creative Writing Programs in Rome and in Friday Harbor.
