Speak for the Planet: An Earth Day Write-In

This year represents the 50th anniversary of Earth Day—a protest to protect our shared home.

Here at Hugo House we wanted to honor this day and our planet by using our creative energy to write about why this land is worth protecting. Pop in at any point during the event to our virtual Salon and write. We’ll send out prompts and guides to help you pen a letter to a politician, write an op-ed, or create a poem or prose piece. Hugo House instructors Kathleen Alcalá, Carolyne Wright, and Gail Folkins will join us to answer your questions as you work.
