Comics for Writers

This is a generative class for writers seeking to learn how to make comics and/or use drawing as a creative tool for improving their writing. In the first three classes, we will practice ways to access ideas visually, including character development through drawing, using dreams and photographs to grow narratives, and learning techniques to create space within drawings. In the last three classes, students will continue to develop drawing skills and complete two short stories generated from drawing.
