Dig In [Wilson Diehl]
Though your writing may be “safe” hiding in a drawer or a deeply buried desktop folder, it can only improve if you allow it to see the light of day. Bring a memoir chapter or personal essay (up to 4,500 words) for constructive, supportive critique to this workshop-style class including relevant readings, brief writing exercises, and lessons on craft. A few students will have their work critiqued in the first class, so be prepared to read and offer written comments before class ever meets.
