Embodied & Mindful Writing

By combining writing prompts with skills derived from embodiment and mindfulness practices—including trauma-informed yoga, mindful movement, forest bathing, meditation, and breathing—we'll bring our awareness to sensation and emotion, for the benefit of both our writing and our well-being. You'll leave with a set of techniques that can be used to regulate stress, pique your curiosity, and bring more of your body and senses into your writing. No prior experience with writing is necessary, and practices are inclusive of all minds/bodies.
