Points of View as Points of Light [Tommy Orange]
All Levels | Point of view presents many possibilities for vision and revision. In firsts and thirds and seconds, in closeness and omniscience, in singularity and plurality, point of view can be used to reimagine minds and hearts, to guide the reader through imagined worlds like points of light. In revision, POV can be used to give the work itself light — to see something in a character or a scene that maybe wasn’t visible or apparent. In this workshop, we’ll look at POV as a tool for revision. Bring a piece in progress with which to experiment.
