Travel Journal in Poems [Kim Stafford]
What better way to travel than by the prismatic deep glance of poetry? We will practice writing the deft fragment of witness that happens in poems—as they might be written while traveling, or in recollection of incandescent moments from a past journey, or in preparation for a quest: write to sharpen your anticipation, then go. By writing, you cease to be a tourist, and become instead a seeker, vagabond, pilgrim. This is a generative writing workshop. Open to all writers.
