Scholarship Application





Parent/guardian, please complete the following form to request a need-based scholarship for a youth program. We will do our very best to ensure our programming is accessible to everyone, regardless of current financial conditions.

Scholarship facts:

  • Full or partial scholarships are granted based on financial need, and are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
  • A place will be held in your requested course once your scholarship application is received.
  • All provided information is confidential.
  • Scholarships are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Responses will be sent 2-4 days after application is received. The last day to apply for a scholarship is one week before the workshop is held.
  • Once your scholarship is accepted, you will receive an email. Instructions on confirming your registration will be included.

Please select classes from Summer quarter, which runs from June 12-September 2. 

If you’re concerned about your class filling up, please apply as soon as possible. Your spot will be held in the class until after scholarship decisions are made. You will be notified of scholarship decisions on June 6th. If we are not able to provide you with a scholarship this quarter, you will have the chance to register for the class at a discount and with a payment plan. *The deadline to submit has been extended until May 30th.

Book Lab, Freelance Going Pro, the Writer’s Welcome Kit, and Yearlong classes are not available for scholarships.
