Introductory | Students will be introduced to playwriting; the main mechanics, concepts and theory behind a dramatic text; and the necessary tools to develop characters, conflicts, and engaging scenes for the stage. We will learn from great international playwrights (Harold Pinter, Sarah Kane, Dario Fo, Eugene Ionesco), as well as from each other through constructive feedback and active listening. The course is very practical, with engaging writing exercises, games and readings.
