Glean inspiration and tips from essays by noted memoirists as well as a helpful how-to guidebook, discussed together in class. Required weekly are 300-word essays, which provide various building blocks for memoir. The essays are read aloud and critiqued in class, plus also receive a thorough written critique by the instructor.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
