Painting Prose: Crafting Narratives Through Visual Storytelling

What is the relationship between the world we experience, the worlds we create, and the stories we tell about both? The author of Children of Grass, widely published writer and visual artist B.A. Van Sise, will work with students to better develop their critical visual observation skills, and discuss how to implement them in world-crafting for both poetry and prose. Particular focus will be given to the use of visual art to create written work, and vice versa.
