Preparing and Submitting Your Poetry

Intermediate. Do you have a draft of ten-fifteen poems you’d like to submit for publication? Are you unsure if they are all ready for submission? Have you decided if you are submitting them as a suite, collection, series, or individual pieces? Do you wonder what publications your work might be better suited for? We’ll edit, give, and receive feedback and choose poems, then research publications best suited for your poems, and finally collectively submit to publications and contests. Each class will begin with a writing prompt.
