All Levels | There is little more daunting than the blank page. But what if you didn’t have to start from nothing? What if the strange, beloved stories you’ve known all your life could act as your guide? For poets, fiction writers, playwrights, and lyricists, alike, we’ll be doing a series of generative writing exercises to produce new versions of classic fairytales and folktales, as well as exploring enchanted tropes to help you create wholly original legends of your own. Walk into class with a blank page, and walk out with brand new writing!
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
