Introductory | Where to begin? Fiction or nonfiction? Blog or short story? Humor or serious commentary? You’ll learn how sensory description can put the spark and emotion into your work, that the decision to write means making space, that writers are thinkers and feelers, and how those thoughts and feelings translate to the page. In-class writing will be short spurts of imagination to facilitate the creative process. You’ll come away with a better sense of your writing self and where you might want to focus.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Spring quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
