All Levels | Investigate effective ways to author a tantalizing mystery and fulfill reader expectations. We will discuss ideas for pushing the envelope and ways to create hybrid mysteries, and we’ll complete in-class writing exercises that apply to your work-in-process. Discussion topics will include the ingredients essential to keeping your reader up at night, the contemporary mystery reader’s expectations, how to plant clues and hook your reader, the way suspense builds, and much more.
Beginning Fall 2021, we will be adding select in-person classes back to our course catalog. The majority of our classes will still be offered via Zoom.
