In this fast-paced afternoon, we’ll zoom through thirty writing exercises, finding the best way to get the words out. If there’s a story (factual or otherwise) you’ve been itching to tell, this is your chance to anchor those words on the page. Myriad writing prompts – incorporating questions, answers, lines of poetry, images, objects, even scents – will help us open the dusty drawers of memory, wish, and imagination. Each participant will leave with a full, mad draft that’s ready for a first revision.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
