Writing a Novella

All Levels | Novellas occupy a strange place in today’s literary marketplace. They’re too long for most journals, but too short for many publishers. But good novellas are delightful to read, and the aesthetic possibilities offered by the form are enticing. Students will draft and/or revise a complete novella and have their work critiqued at least twice. Students at all stages of the writing process are encouraged to take this course. Whether you have a finished draft that you’d like to polish, or haven’t even written word one, you’ll get a lot out of it!
