Words, Pictures, and Poem-Minded-Making

In this class, we’ll sample work from writers who draw and artists who write, finding places where word and image act together: comics, collage, even personal journals. How can written and visual forms assist, and expand upon, one another? We’ll take off on our own and each create a short piece incorporating text and image. No visual art expertise/devotion needed!
