Sometimes pamphlet, sometimes memoir, always whatever you want it to be, Zines have been part of punk and DIY culture since DIY began! In this class, we’ll look at different forms zine have taken over time, emphasizing their open-ended nature; brainstorm topic ideas for our own zines; and learn a few quick methods to choose from to make our own. We’ll end the class with the option of compiling everyone’s zines on a collective tumblr to share our work.
