All Levels | We’ll look in depth at the structure of four short novels—Baldwin’s Giovanni’s Room, Didion’s Play It As It Lays, Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, and Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House—and think how to apply them as basic models for structuring a novel. You do not have to read all of these books, as you will be provided with the necessary materials to make this class useful and interesting.
Due to COVID-19, all classes will take place online-either through Zoom or through Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform-through Winter quarter 2021.
All times are listed in Pacific Time.
