Nicole Hardy

Nicole Hardy’s first memoir, Confessions of a Latter-Day Virgin, (Hyperion 2013) was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award. Her other books include the poetry collections This Blonde and Mud Flap Girl’s XX Guide to Facial Profiling–a chapbook of pop-culture inspired sonnets. Hardy’s work has been published widely in outlets including The New York TimesThe Washington Post, The Seattle Times, and Marie Claire; her popular essay “Single, Female, Mormon, Alone” was noted in 2012’s “Best American Essays” and featured on The Modern Love Podcast. She’s currently at work on a memoir about the year she spent sailing the world on a 180-foot, three-masted tall ship.
