VIDEO: This class will take place via video-conferencing (Zoom).
In this class, we’ll make maps you wouldn’t find in a school atlas—like a map of your family’s history, or the map a raccoon might make of your neighborhood. Then we’ll build stories and poems to guide visitors and passers by through our imagined worlds and histories. Come ready to explore!

Arianne True (Choctaw, Chickasaw) is a queer poet and folk artist from Seattle. Besides the Hugo House, Arianne has taught and mentored with Writers in the Schools (WITS) and YouthSpeaks Seattle, and is a proud alum of Hedgebrook and of the MFA program at the Institute of American Indian Arts.
