About Sarah Salcedo Samudre

Sarah Salcedo Samudre is the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator at Richard Hugo House. She loves to write, travel, and cook, but has been embarrassed by a lifelong inability to snap. She is in the process of trying to find a good home her first novel, "The Ashes," and is currently working on new fiction, non-fiction and a screenplay. She and her husband, Vasant Samudre, run a small film production company that films both locally and internationally. Together, they enjoy traveling and discovering new stories, new people and new ways to produce art. They both graduated from University of Washington with double degrees in English Literature and Cinema Studies. When not telling/reading/watching stories, she is probably playing with her dog, Lilo, or trying to learn how to snap.
