Kate Horowitz

Kate Horowitz (she/her) is a poet, essayist, and science writer based in Washington, DC. Her work on illness and disability has appeared in Pacific Standard, The Atlantic, Bright Wall/Dark Room, Luna Luna, Monstering, rose quartz, and many others. She has an M.A. in science-medical writing from Johns Hopkins University and studied poetry with Robert Pinsky. She was Yes, Poetry’s Poet of the Month in July 2018.
