Curating Your Own Collective Zine

You've made a call out, received submissions – now what? Organizing a collection of drawings, collage pieces, or photos into a zine can be a challenging yet satisfying way to connect to your artist community. Linking images together cohesively or finding similarities and patterns within the work takes imagination, rather than simply assembling alphanumerically or randomly.

In this workshop, community publisher Marc J Palm will share his editorial insights and inspirations. You'll be provided with a collection of illustrations and comics from local artists to learn the important skill of curating a handmade publication that has a deliberate flow connecting all of the pieces. The material provided can be used as is, or you may bring your own sourced materials to create a one of a kind release. Basic zine-making knowledge recommended.

The House bar will be open to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
