Revise, Re-Vision: Hugo House’s New Mission

Have you been wondering what Hugo House has been up to lately? Join us on June 25 for our open house and ice cream social and find out! We’re itching to tell you about what’s in store for our future. 

The event will feature Tree Swenson, Brian McGuigan, and Laura Scott, and, most importantly, complimentary ice cream from Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream — chamomile and birthday Neapolitan, to be exact.

While Tree will give sage answers to questions about our new mission, vision, values, and strategic plan, Brian and Laura will chat about upcoming programs at the House. There will be time to mingle with Hugo House staff, volunteers, dedicated patrons and members, and, best of all, fellow writers and readers.

Although Richard Hugo, our namesake, wrote, “Think small … If you can’t think small, try philosophy or social criticism,” we’ve been bad: we’re thinking big and want you to be part of it.
