Stage Fright, Anthology Release, and Party!

Join us on Wednesday, June 12, as we celebrate all of the hard work, talent, and all-around splendor of everyone who has participated in our youth programs during the 2012-2013 school year. The evening will feature an open mic (our last until next fall!), delicious food, refreshing refreshments, and hot-off-the-press copies of our youth programs anthology, featuring work by students who participated in Write Time, Spoken Word Camp, the Young Writers’ Mentorship Project, and the Hugo House Youth Leadership Board. The evening will be hosted by the fabulous members of the Youth Leadership Board. Invite your friends, family, loved ones, mentors, little siblings, casual acquaintances, coaches, teachers, preachers, scientists, and neighbors! All are welcome, though the open mic is reserved for youth only. Young writers are also encouraged to come early for the last Write Time before summer break (6-7 p.m. in the Gary classroom). 

Doors open at 6:30. The event will take place in the Cabaret.
