Dana Elkun’s Book Release Party

Richard Hugo House presents a book release party for poet Dana Elkun’s “Black Box Theater as Abandoned Zoo,” winner of the Concrete Wolf Poetry Chapbook Series.

Elkun, an expat Seattle poet, Hugo House instructor and alumna of the University of Washington’s MFA program, returns from Boulder, CO to celebrate the publication of and read from her chapbook. In addition to the reading, visual artists, Lacey Coover and Pattie Lee Becker, will present a sculptural performance based on poems from Elkun’s collection.
