Lit.mustest: A Goddard College Student Reading

Students of the Goddard College MFA in Creative Writing program present the second in a series of student-run readings. Join us for an evening of literature and friendship with live readings of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and dramatic writing by students and alumni.

Featuring, as a special guest, local lit-star and Goddard faculty member Ryan Boudinot. Boudinot is author of one short story collection and two novels including, most recently, “Blueprints of the Afterlife” (released in January to high praise and currently in its second printing). His first novel, “Misconception,” was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award and the PEN USA Literary Award. The title story of his collection, “The Littlest Hitler,” was included in the 2003 Best American Non-required Reading, a McSweeny’s publication. “The Littlest Hitler” was also named Book of the Year by both Publisher Weekly and Amazon.com in 2006.

This event is all ages and open to the public; drinks will be available at the bar; admission is free but we’re asking for donations to cover the cost of renting out the space and the bar for the evening. Suggested donation $5; there will be a merch table setup where authors may sling their wares.
