A Poetry Routine [Ally Harris]
A poet once said writers fall into two categories: the ox, who plods on methodically, writing for a sustained period every day, or the cat, who laps from the gulf of writing as she pleases. We will learn a variety of generative techniques so each poet will be able to make progress toward the ox, to establish a routine of writing that will help combat writer’s block. As such, we will write, stretch, transmogrify, scramble, and borrow in order to create.

To request a refund, log in to your account, go to “My Account,” select the “Orders” tab on the left-hand side, click the appropriate order, and request a refund for your specific class. Class sessions may be recorded if a session falls on a holiday, or if a student has access needs. Class recordings are not guaranteed.

Classes may be cancelled if less than 5 students are enrolled within 10 days before the class start date. If for any reason Hugo House needs to cancel a class, students can choose between a full credit or full refund.
