Advanced Fiction Workshop [Joan Leegant]
The aim of this workshop is to make everyone a better writer. We’ll do this through thoughtful discussion of one another’s works-in-progress—identifying where it sings, where its heart is, and how to get it to where it needs to go. We’ll read writers such as Jill McCorkle, Chang-Rae Lee, and Tobias Wolff. Occasionally we’ll read essays on craft and the writing process—all in the service of making our stories come alive on the page. This course is for those who have been in fiction workshops or have written fiction.
