Advanced Young Adult & Middle Grade Manuscript

The Advanced YA/MG Manuscript course is open exclusively to writers who have already completed the Yearlong in Young Adult Fiction. This yearlong course will offer a booster of support and instruction to writers who are working toward completion of a manuscript through lecture and exercises in fiction, opportunities for peer feedback, and help with goal setting.

No class 10/19, 11/30, 12/7, 12/21, 12/28, 2/22, & 4/12.

Karen Finneyfrock

Karen Finneyfrock is a poet and novelist. She is the author of two young adult novels: The Sweet Revenge of Celia Door and Starbird Murphy and the World Outside, both published by Viking Children’s Books. She is one of the editors of the anthology Courage: Daring Poems for Gutsy Girls, and the author of Ceremony for the Choking Ghost, both released on Write Bloody press.
