Creating Characters (Kirkland) [Robert Ferrigno]
Story is important, but without believable characters, the reader won’t be drawn in. This class will walk writers through proven techniques to create characters that breathe—characters that, when you do it right, actually write their own dialogue. Mixing lecture with writing exercises, students will get near-immediate feedback and improve their abilities. The techniques learned are applicable to all forms of fiction.
This class will meet at Kirkland Arts Center (620 Market Street, Kirkland, WA 98033).
