All Levels | Think of the American Sonnet, used by many contemporary poets; the Golden Shovel; and the Duplex as the evolution of three modern poetic forms. We’ll examine their effectiveness as containers for the evolving language of today. Participants should bring three different poems-in-progress and will apply the rigor of each form to a selected draft. We will create poems in these modern forms.
