If you are working on a piece of writing that you can't describe with the typical signifiers of genre, this workshop is for you. In this eight-week workshop, we will utilize the Critical Response Process to deepen our understanding of our own work and one another's. No previous experience with this critical method is necessary, but plan to unlearn assumed critical methods. In addition to workshops, each class will explore the craft of contemporary hybrid masterpieces. Experimental forms, hybrid prose poems, re-worlding, and world-building are all welcome here. Be prepared and able to workshop by week two of the class.
