Improv for Writers: Moving a Story Forward Section II (Matt Smith
A second section of this sold out class.
Learn the improv exercises practiced by the world’s best improv artists. The exercises will be accessible, easily transferable, simple, and often obvious; the premise is that by embracing these principles, your writing will never be blocked again. You will learn the exercises “on your feet.” These exercises will benefit you if you want to get better at moving a story forward. This is not a comedy workshop, though we will touch on how writers can find and mine the humor in any situation. No acting experience necessary.
