Kevin Emerson
Kevin Emerson is the author of twenty-two middle grade and YA novels. He has been published by HarperCollins, Random House, Little Brown, Scholastic, and internationally. His most well-known novel, LAST DAY ON MARS, was listed by the American Library Association as one of the Top 50 Middle Grade Novels of the 21st Century, and made the LITA List for Excellence in Science Fiction. He has published sci-fi, fantasy, and realistic fiction. As an aspiring screenwriter, Kevin’s screenplays have won and placed in numerous contests including the Austin Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival, though he has yet to land that sweet film deal. Kevin has taught for Hugo House and Seattle Arts & Lectures, and is a musician in various celebrated indie bands around town, including Model Shop and Math and Physics Club. He has won a spelling bee, lost a beauty pageant, and once appeared in a Swedish TV commercial.

To request a refund, log in to your account, go to “My Account,” select the “Orders” tab on the left-hand side, click the appropriate order, and request a refund for your specific class. Class sessions may be recorded if a session falls on a holiday, or if a student has access needs. Class recordings are not guaranteed.

Classes may be cancelled if less than 5 students are enrolled within 10 days before the class start date. If for any reason Hugo House needs to cancel a class, students can choose between a full credit or full refund.
