All Levels | We will cover the language of limit subjects (metaphysics, being, death, God, humanness) from Gottfried Leibniz, William James, George Eliot, Donna Haraway, Frantz Fanon, and Slavoj Zizek. We’ll examine these texts and images to grasp their key concepts and learn from their brilliant poetry and literary flair. This class, which combines reading with writing workshops, is recommended for poets and writers who want more poetry in their prose. It is intended for both those who have and those who have not taken a previous Philosophy for Writers course.
