How did it sound in our kitchens? How did it feel to hold that blue bowl you were forbidden to touch? How did it sound on the streets and in the woods of our childhoods? What are the stories we half-heard? Or turned away from hearing? Pulling from sensory and remembered landscapes provides us opportunities as writers.
