We often imagine research and imagination to be opposed to one another, but the reality is that each depends deeply on the other. In this course, we'll explore tactics for using research to hone the imagination. Each week, we'll investigate a new approach, outfitting us with a full repertoire of tools for combining the factual and the invented. Students will come away with a greater confidence in their capability to research and a more solid footing within their own imagination.
