Saturday Morning Fiction Workshop (Ballard) [Ross McMeekin]
This roundtable workshop is designed to help short-story writers and novelists of all levels develop their fiction through in-class discussions of their own work. Students will receive feedback on at least one of their own pieces (twenty pages or fewer). Each week, students will read and prepare comments on the student manuscripts up for discussion. The instructor will provide relevant exercises, lessons, and readings related to class discussions. We’ll examine the work of writers such as Alice Munro, Franz Kafka, Lorrie Moore, and Roxane Gay.
This class will meet at Ballard Homestead (6541 Jones Ave NW Seattle,WA 98117).
