Tease me, entice me, intrigue me. Learn the art of giving readers reasons to open your book, start reading, and keep reading. Creating hooks is one of the ways you earn your readers' attention. Hooks are for every genre and every story structure. They propel a reader through pages and keep them engaged with your story. Learn and practice the art of creating different types of hooks and understand how they work in story structure and marketing.

- Feedback in class: Both peer and instructor feedback given.
- Work outside of class: No writing or reading outside of class.

- Craft Discussion: teachers and students explore essential elements of the craft.
- Generative Writing: students create new work during class or from assignments.

To request a refund, log in to your account, go to “My Account,” select the “Orders” tab on the left-hand side, click the appropriate order, and request a refund for your specific class. Class sessions may be recorded if a session falls on a holiday, or if a student has access needs. Class recordings are not guaranteed.
