Genres: The Writing Life
Are you curious about how writers are using TikTok to reach new audiences? We will look at a number of different ways—from serious to silly—writers are connecting with readers on TikTok. We will also cover the essentials of creating and sharing TikToks, including the basics of combining and editing "sounds" and video. Even if you are camera shy or think you're "not good at tech," you will learn some simple ways to participate on this fun platform while still maintaining privacy.

Nestor's essays have appeared numerous places including the New York Times, Seattle Times, and the Rumpus.

Class sessions may be recorded if a session falls on a holiday, or if a student has access needs. Class recordings are not guaranteed.

Classes may be cancelled if less than 5 students are enrolled within 10 days before the class start date. If for any reason Hugo House needs to cancel a class, students can choose between a full credit or full refund.
